Terms of Use

1. Scope and current status

These Terms apply to figfolio.app and to the Figfolio iPhone app and related services when they become available. The website currently introduces a product in development. A feature described here is not a promise that it is available today. By using a released Figfolio service, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Figfolio is designed for adults aged 18 or older in the United States. Planned matching and trade-request features require the participants to meet the app's age and U.S. eligibility rules.

2. Your account and public collection

When accounts are available, keep your sign-in access secure and provide accurate information about your own collection. Figfolio records the number of copies you say you own; it does not independently verify possession, condition or authenticity. The first copy of an item is your Owned copy, additional copies are Duplicates, and missing figures from selected series appear in Wanted automatically.

Collection, selected series, Owned figures, available duplicates and Wanted are designed to be public. Public profiles may be viewed by anyone and indexed by search engines. Figfolio does not offer a private or unlisted collection mode. Do not add profile text or media you do not want to make public.

3. Collector interactions

Matching and trade-request features, when released, help collectors find overlapping Wanted items and available duplicates. A Match, request, accepted request or conversation does not verify an item or guarantee that a trade will happen. Figfolio does not sell figures, handle payments, provide escrow, arrange shipping, inspect items, authenticate merchandise or mediate a physical exchange. Collectors are responsible for deciding whether and how to exchange items and for complying with applicable law.

Do not use Figfolio to scam, harass, impersonate or mislead others, to ask for financial credentials, or to offer items you cannot provide. The Community Guidelines give more detail.

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain any rights you have in content you submit. If submission features become available, you must have the right to share each photo, name, bio, message or other contribution. You grant Ali Şahin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, resize and display that content only as needed to operate the Figfolio features in which you choose to make it available. This permission ends when the content is removed from the service, subject to reasonable technical retention and legal obligations. Public copies made by others or search engines may remain outside Figfolio's control.

Figfolio's name, design and software remain protected by their respective rights. Figure brands, characters, product names and catalog images may belong to third parties; their appearance in a collection tool does not mean Figfolio owns them or is endorsed by their owners. 5. Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue features, and may remove content or restrict use when reasonably needed to protect the service, users or others' rights. We may update these Terms and will post the revised date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, subject to applicable law. If an account feature is released, account and data requests can be sent through Account deletion or Support.

6. Responsibility and legal rights

The service and catalog information are provided as available. We work to keep information accurate, but series membership, images, availability and user-reported collection details can contain errors or change. To the extent permitted by law, Figfolio is provided without warranties, and Ali Şahin is not responsible for losses arising from independent transactions between collectors. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

If the iPhone app is distributed through Apple's App Store without a custom app license, Apple's Standard EULA governs the license to the downloaded app. These Terms also describe use of the Figfolio service.
